This author knew this, and all the different exercises should make the eyeballs able to focus both at distance and close.(Flexible in all three axis.) I also have astigmatism and I could not read the number on the bus at distance. Three weeks after I started those exercises and changed my food intake I could read at a 100 m distance.(The number display was much smaller those days too.)
You make me miss that book…
Now I can remember another thing from the book. The exercises he presented was told to be of Chinese origin. He told Chinese children learned in school how to do these exercises to prevent the need of glasses. This was before “the age of screens” back in the eighties, and maybe a trick the “poor” Chinese people at that time knew. I think he mentioned this was the reason Chinese people then was mostly seen without wearing glasses in opposite to westerns.
Maybe youngsters staring into a screen outside is even more devastating with more absorption of reflected light into the eyes? Another wave of poor vision coming?
Anyway that book made my vision better when I did eye exercising, and my health better when I became a vegetarian — who always preferred organic grown food.
Now it make me think about all the 63 tons of CO2 plus methane emissions from animal farming I saved by being a vegetarian for 37 years. :-)
Hope you still take good care…
