There couldn't be a more present time to legalize the use of this plant. And for everyone to chose whatever they like to use it for.

US agriculture has failed totally! Confiscate the land from the farmers who act like this. Put the greedy administration out of their offices out on the fields to pick the onion instead and let them carry the sacks on their back to the grocery stores.

Or use the fields to grow medicine, food, clothes and recreation. From the same plant. And the hemp plant need no fertiliziser or pesticides. People need food, clothes, medicine and relaxation. Everything in one plant.

What more do a man need? A woman by his side to give good care and make love and children, and a guitar to play a tune at the campfire…

Did US ever win one of the wars they started? Nope… And now they point the guns on their own population.
