Stargazing…

Can you remember the night sky?

I was stargazing
All night long
Wanted to see them all
But some started to crawl around
And disappeared wherever they was bound

I hated those cloudy nights
The rain, the wind
Raindrops on my face
Always make me feel colder
Realize it’s another day to get older

Stargazing became too boring
I needed new inspiration
And started counting the stars
‘Cause I didn’t want to go to sleep
Remind me ‘bout the jumping sheep

Then came the interruptions…
The moments of frustration
More clouds and all the raindrops
The hops with the erections
My eyes stared in all other directions

I lost all the numbers
Had to start all over
So many more has now appeared
Funny tiny spots in rows
Like UFO’s invading from the south

Do you really know what this is all about?
All these interruptions…
Once my brave mind said no
No screenbook in my face
I want to see the stars, see them where they are

Behind the clouds
Behind the rain I hate
Above the wind
Above the air I breathe
Behind the shadows of the night

I’m always waking up in the middle of the night these days
The only thing I feel is the heat
Try to burn the plastics here inside
Is it my body burning from these scars
Or just another secret message from the stars

Oh, I forgot to tell ya ‘bout the scars
The plastic in the water
The metal in the sky
This tiny reminder of all the lies
Hindering the dance of the night flies

Stargazing will never be the same…

The inspiration for this rhyme or whatever it is came from reading this story written by Kristi Keller. 🙏

Hope you all take good care, unless you don’t!

You might know me, but you don’t. I got wet in the rain, but now always soaked. I thought a lot. High thoughts and also loud and clear.
