I have started my day with 6 cups of espresso for more than 20 years always brewed on bottled mountain spring water or on filtered water. This water is not chlorinated as the tap water is in households are. Try it for yourself ! You will be surprised when you see the grey washing water lookalike coffee compared to the transparent spring water brew. And the taste… Hmmm…You won’t believe it! Some coffee shop owners know this and that is why their coffee tastes better.

The funny thing is I had no flu in the same period…

I think the reason is more the lack of chloride — a ground compound that react with almost everything — than the presence of coffee or not.
