For the first time in 50 years I have learned something about what Eid is and the beauty of Eid, Ramadan and the peaceful Islam, though I was living with hundreds of muslim families in my neighborhood for a decade. And I have seen the fear in their eyes that wasn't there before the bombs started to fall...

Through right wing wars of propaganda and killings during the last decades it is easy to meke people believe all muslims are a bunch of warriors ready to kill you.

A look at the shining eyes of people dressed in beautiful colored cloths telling different stories about Eid and Ramadan - how they have lived with fear and unsecurity in a new society and still have love to their families and religion and new country- show that most people are peaceful.

It is a shame to all people in the world that governments use lies and manipulation of their own to kill others in the name of someone.

The people of the world need love and care. The last months have shown the lack of care in parts of the world. The "funny" fact is that the leaders there claim to have a right to start wars and kill people all over the world, and forget to take care of their own.

I have chosen not to believe, not in wars and killing either. But I love beauty, even in a religion... There is so much beauty in the difference, just like out in the nature.

Hope you all take good care of yourself and others.

Happy Eid Mubarak!

You might know me, but you don’t. I got wet in the rain, but now always soaked. I thought a lot. High thoughts and also loud and clear.
