And your story explains why I never got a response on the email I sent 20 years ago when I wanted to start selling Segways.

To me there is a big difference between e-scooters and the Segway. You will immediately notice when someone is riding and moving on a Segway, but almost never when someone is riding a scooter because of the riders position.
